About the HuurPulse bot

For some of our listings, HuurPulse spots public rental listings on other websites. Our bot HuurPulseBot does this. We only do this for sites we've assessed from a legal point of view beforehand.

What we take, and what we don't

• We do take: town, neighbourhood, rent, type of home, number of rooms, floor area, date and the name of the source.
• We don't take: photos, the full description, names, phone numbers or email addresses.
• Every home has a clear button linking to the original listing on your site.

Rules the bot always follows

• It identifies itself with the name HuurPulseBot and a contact address.
• It respects robots.txt, including any Crawl-delay.
• It never logs in and never gets around a CAPTCHA, paywall or block.
• It visits a site at most once an hour, with a fixed pause between requests.
• If it's blocked or gets an error, it stops for that site.
